If you see something that needs its own quiz, you can submit your own questions. You can choose to do your seven questions about things as general as Poetry or as specific as Xbox Games. (If you prefer your social networking gaming free, you can just use an account with Quiz Up and play random opponents.) Unlike most trivia games, there is a huge array of topics. It is a social game, using your Facebook and Twitter lists to draw opponents you know. There are some trivia games on iOS, but nothing as quickly accessible as Quiz Up. Trivia may not be for everyone, but those who love Trivia, love it completely.
Finally, there was some IAP controversy this week when the Angry Birds cart racing game had a $100 item. An Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag tie in for iOS, Pirates will be released next week. The new Xbox brought a new version of Microsoft’s Smartglass app. Though some gamers will welcome this, it does seem a shame to rely on controllers just as developers begin to experiment with new touch implementations. The biggest of which was the debut of the first iPhone game controller from Logitech.

There’s Oninaki, PC building Simulator (which has gotten a little press), and a bunch of other games you’ve probably never heard of. As for what’s backing it up though, it’s a pretty barren field. RAD does look pretty cool though, and it’s definitely the headliner this week. Okay, maybe you have seen some of this before. And thirdly, it’s filled with vibrant colors. Secondly, you play as a teenager, which makes RAD’s hero starkly different from most grizzled protagonists. Firstly, it’s a roguelike (which just immediately turned off a bunch of gamers). It’s a little different from what you’ve seen before though. Yes, RAD is another post-apocalyptic game.
